Health education

The health education program empowers woman to understand nutrition, and see the direct connection between food and health. Environmental education was introduced in schools as a fundamental program to cultivate ecological awareness in children at a developing age. Also, educational visits were organized to successful ventures to motivate the villagers to explore various options.

Health Education

Educational sessions were conducted on the importance of the nutritional value of food. They were made aware of the importance and benefits of the Indigenous food crops such as
native varieties of rice, millets, wild varieties of vegetables and tubers, etc. which are hardier, easy to cultivate, and have better nutritional value and unique flavor. The aim is understand that ‘Food is the best medicine,’ and that ‘Prevention is better than cure.’

    Environmental Education

    Understanding our place and responsibility towards nature at an early age creates a positive impact and prepares future generations to face challenges in their environment. Children’s
    awareness of the interdependence of forests and local community, biodiversity, and the importance of native knowledge plays a key role in the restoration of the surrounding ecosystem.
